… is, sadly, to let you know there won’t be a post this week (I plan to publish biweekly, so I also won’t be posting anything next week unless I finish a few projects early). I’ve got a few projects in progress, don’t worry, but none of them are quite ready yet. To give you a small insight into what is coming:
- Opinion piece on Modern Warfare (2022) (might roll a bit of point 5 into this one)
- Opinion piece on the PlayStation 5, the Xbox Series X/S, and the state of them to date
- Opinion piece on the state of both Halo and the FPS genre as a whole in 2022
- Possibly some poetry? I’ve got a few ideas rumbling around in my head that I’m trying to get to paper before writing them out digitally, those might come out at some point.
- Really would like to write about the current ongoing dramas surrounding game development, namely with AAA developers such as Acti/Blizz, EA, etc., etc.
- Possibly a Halo: Combat Evolved retrospective with a full video to be posted to YouTube alongside a script which will be posted to the blog? That one’s been in progress for QUITE some time, but I’d like to finish it up at some point.
- Maybe I’ll talk shop with some writing theory as well, I’ve had some thoughts lately and may wanna share ’em.
Anyway, that’s enough bullet points for now, so for the time being I only ask that you please be patient as I work to try and get these projects out.
Also, it’s time to shill myself again. Sorry, but it is a contractual obligation I have with myself, gotta throw out my socials that I actually use for engagement.
